Owl let the zephyrs pass by. The day was growing later, the sky was getting darker. He knew that it’d be time to get back, it was long overdue his presence in this new territory. But the canine watched her with intent golden eyes. Like lanterns glowing with zeal. He was still feeling a bit nervous. ”Owl… You’re a strange wolf…” Normally that would’ve struck him wrong. With her Tawnyhawk, he knew that it meant… he was simply unique to her. ”But I think I, er, I like you.” What? This caught the male of guard. He felt as if some paranormal force blew him off his feet, but this was in his thoughts. His jaw slightly dropped. How was he going to approach this? Not for one of many words, but intelligent in many ways. ”I don’t know if I’m allowed to feel the way I do.” His words were sharp and quick, though he couldn’t help to put a hint of kindness in them.
Two choices he had. One, just run away, forgets everything; though that wasn’t in his nature. Two, abandon his home, his truth, everything. Stuck in a fork he picked up his legs and let his paws pad the damp terrain. He moved in dangerously close. All butterfly feeling swarmed his judgment. He hated to feel like this. It was new, and too different. Turning his skull down his eyes drifted from her. ”There isn’t a chance I’ll leave my pack yet; I don’t expect you from yours. He was just feet from the she-wolf. Her beautiful radiant closer he got.
He had no major part in his pack to begin with… but he does have a chance at Alpha, would he have that with her? It was all loyalty. If he moves to the Flame Pack, he’ll be a traitor, but he would have Tawnyhawk. Too much bothered him about this. Maybe she had the answer? Maybe… if he could speak with her later, another time? It was all in the air. Golden eyes looked back up to the she-wolf. I-I hate to do this. He stuttered the words out, but he felt as if something was lodge into his gullet. Owl had to go. Daring at this, the male outstreached and rubbed his head to her mid neck and shoulder. Now they both stank of the enemy pack. Owl knew this wasn’t the smartest thing to do, but since he couldn’t find the words for her affection he had to show it some how.
”Till another day I hope?” This he questioned; wanting to know her thoughts on it. Turning his skull away he reluctantly pick his carcass up and started to move back to his territory.
