So quiet.... Cedyra couldn't help but think how it was a little like a tomb. No one was in the Ice Pack range these days. The packs seemed so small now - more loners then packwolves in the forest to her count. It was sad, and a little frightening.
Folding herself down into a little package, she tucked her legs into the soft fur of her belly, watching the forest around her for signs of her packmates. She hadn't run with alot of them recently, but she knew they were around here. She could smell them on the wind.

Temperatures have been recorded to drop. Winter was soon to make its path to the forest the wolves inhabited. This season was full of bliss, but alas desolation. Deaths ranked the numbers; food was scare, and many become sick. Owl didn’t sought the season to be so disappointing, but he never had to deal with anything like this. He was a fool. Never trespassing to the flame’s pack he would’ve never spotted to tawny pelted she-wolf. She haunted his thoughts now, how he could let this happen. Owl was a leader, so in thought. He never did anything so foolish. He didn’t know what to do…
Now the surrounds were damp. Making his lighter ironed pelt wet with it. Droplets of water fell from the tree’s pine, which made him flinch every so often. He could recall all the familiar scents along the trees and bushes he padded by, the icepack territory of course. The pack was small, or most were just hiding; escaping their fears. The scent of one icepack member was fairly strong; a she-wolf. Owl stopped his movement and turned his skull to the direction the canine must’ve been. Thoughts shot through his cranium as he wondered about another wolf. Tawnyhawk. Shaking his thoughts away Owl clenched his golden lanterns shut. He need to get these thoughts off his chest, his pools soon became clouded.
Skull down, he let his tail hang low; golden lanterns searching for the femme. Soon within his sights, the husky she-wolf laid before him. He seemed much smaller than she, but he was pretty tall with a lean physique. ”Hello, I haven’t seen you around.” His lyrics were simple.
WORDS: 278 COMMENTS: Sorry for the long reply.

Lashes parted at the voice, the vocals catching her a touch off guard. She hadn't sensed the male's approach, but she wasn't too bothered; the scent of Ice Pack clung to his aura like a second skin, putting the faded domino femme at ease for now.
"I am normally farther north, watching the back border of the pack lands."
Rolling her shoulders, she pushed to her feet with a gliding motion of practiced grace. The cold did nothing to her, her body protected by the thick blanket of natural warmth her coat gave to her. Crown tilted, her optics focusing on the brute with interest. Cedi gave him a soft smile, trying to be friendly.
"I'm Cedyra, but you can call me Cedi if you like.... you are..."
Her tempting tempered lyrics faded gently as the she-wolf waited for his reply. OOC: Sorry for the delayed reply - I hadn't actually noticed you had really posted. My apologies. ):
